So, I woke up this morning with a pounding in my head, my muscles aching, general confusion as to what was going on, and a very sore throat. Thinking not much of it, I hopped in the shower, and began to notice just how painful existing was at that point in time. I got out of the shower and put together some clothes for the day.
A bit of background info here, is that today I was supposed to present a lesson to my Peer Tutoring class, but my supervisor had taken my copy of the lesson plan out of my folder when she gave it back to me on Friday. I had to reconstruct the lesson with no aid, and no textbook to guide me, so sufficed to say, I was worried. My supervisor's attendance is worse than a crackhead's within walking distance of a crackhouse, so I wasn't optimistic about getting my lesson plan back from her. Not that it was a terribly hard lesson, just Unit rates (50 Beats per minute, forty miles per hour, etc).
Now, I'd been sitting next to a sort of kindred spirit in my science class for a while, we have similar ideas about humanity, and generally get along, however he'd sent me a message Sunday saying he was down with Swine Flu, and not to expect him for the rest of the week. I quickly added my symptoms up, and realized that I probably had it as well. I'm going to document this in case I need this later.
