We almost lost one of the dogs today. He just got back from the vet.
Liver "weakness".
Vet said couple of months, maybe a year if the meds work.
The weakness caused him to have a couple of seizures earlier this month.

Right now we're all trying to be hopeful here. It's hard though. The other two dogs can really tell something is up.

I'm off...

to go get tattoo'd. I'll make sure to throw in a picture or two when I get back.
Your rainbow is strongly shaded red.

What is says about you: You are a passionate person. You appreciate energetic people. You get bored easily and want friends who will keep up with you.

So yeah... if you hadn't already guessed, Red and I are quite alike.

Your rainbow is intensely shaded red and green.

What is says about you: You are a passionate person. You feel strong ties to nature and your mood changes with its cycles. You get bored easily and want friends who will keep up with you. Those around you admire your fresh outlook and vitality.

I found it rather amusing that my rainbow matches me pretty well, but it's also Festively seasonal.

Merry Christmas!

Unlike Red here, I've mostly beaten my first Christmas present (Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World) and it'll be a few days before I go buy new ones with my gift money. So I guess I'll have to entertain the ghosts around here for a while now.

Apologies

To our non existent readers! Christmas Hiatus has slowed us down some. Red got a copy of Fallout 3, so he may be sparsely posting until he's over his post apocalyptic phase.

Noodle Cups...

Seriously, does anyone even look at those before eating them? I regret it.
Hard to believe...that... turns into a delicious noodle soup after the inclusion of boiling water and a three minute wait.

Yes, yes, I still live. I seem to be quite a bit less verbose than my blogging partner.
List of the Night:
When Men Cheat....

Definitely a good commentary. Why can't American commentary be like this? Oh. Right. Culture.

If you've ever seen The Matrix then you may have overheard Morpheus explain to Neo that "the human body generates more bioelectricity than a 120V battery, and more than 25000 BTU's of body heat." As retarded as the science behind their human power plant was, some European crematoriums are making the idea real.
An interesting article sent to me by my co-writer Karria. What you can have done with your body after death!

Edit: It seems the week of lists, as here's another one with a VERY shocking ending.
"In 1929, Werner Forssmann was a surgical trainee who wanted to learn about the heart. Unlike other wimpy doctors at the time, instead of learning about it from books or dead animals, he went for the more classic investigatory approach of "poke it with something."."
This man is officially my hero. No doubt about it.

I love it.

Something I thought I should share over the Holiday Season

Yahtzee comes in a new incarnation!

Yahtzee is now one of three talking heads in a new Australian gaming segment. Well, segment isn't the proper word, as it's half an hour long. Here is the link: http://www.gamedamage.net/

Now, many of you might remember some episodes of his Zero Punctuations where he makes reference to being a friendless misanthrope. In this video, he actually interacts with others, and acts much the way he explains. Although in an amusing lovable kind of way. He appears as one of those guys that you have around to make fun of people, and make straight lines because he's just so damn good at it. The man could tell me the Nazi's were right and I'd have to stop for five minutes and think it over before disagreeing with him! (Not really, the Nazi's were evil)

Afrocentric schooling

Now, I have this suspicious feeling that if anyone pro Afrocentric schooling finds this blog, it'll be sorely butt hurt into closing it down. However, I'll defend myself as much as I can.

What is Afrocentric Schooling, Red?

Afrocentric schooling is a newly authorized school system in Toronto. It only allows black teacher and black students, as someone felt that it would reduce the violence and racial hatred towards the African descended students. The basic idea is that black students would feel more comfortable learning from black teachers,

Well, that sounds reasonable, Red.

If that was your answer, then kindly raise your heads, because you're all about to get twatted around the head til it makes sense to you.

Ow! Stop it! Why is this a bad thing?!

Because my friends, this is segregation, the one racial thing we've been fighting to get rid of all this time. Canada had taken a step backwards in the fight for equal rights (Don't get me started on "Equal" rights).

Oh. I guess that's true.

Yer damn right it is.

You keep saying things in past tense, why are you bringing it up now?

Because my little friends, the Afrocentric School systems have been put into effect, and only 8 families signed up for them.

So where were you going with all this?

To some sort of point, I imagine. Maybe something like intelligence still exists in mankind, perhaps it's Activists generally aren't actually listening to their activies, or maybe it's that I like talking about big social issues. Not sure which. Oh well.

No way I couldn't share this.

Snow Days!

If I look outside my window, the sky is totally white. Thankfully, the thundersnow has passed. This is like... the second major snowstorm to hit my area this month. Compared to last year, when there was so little snow, I am a little weirded out right now. Pretty much everything in the area is closed, too.

On the plus side, I get to spend the entire day at home instead of in all my boring classes. I restarted Resident Evil 4.. on the Gamecube. I hate my Wii too much for that.

And holy crap, I SUCK. Instant "Press this button or DIE" cutscenes... I hate you.

The flu sucks. Some tips on what to do and not to do.

I've been suffering with the flu over the last week, and mentally I've compiled a list of things to do and not do while you're sick with this annoying disease.

Things to do!
1) Drink a lot.
2) Unless you're feeling nauseous, keep eating. You won't feel how hungry you are up front, and it will simply add to your symptoms.
3) Stay comfy
4) If you feel that you need heat, grab a blanket and loosely wrap yourself up in it.
5)Once you're done drinking a lot... Drink some more (And I mean water or juice, ya boozers)

Now what NOT to do!

1) Do not veg for an entire 2 days. Make sure you're getting up and waddling around every once in a while. It's amazing how much legs can deteriorate with no real excersize
2) Do not sit in front of a fire. Believe me, it feels nice at first, but then you can't tell if you're feverish or just hot. Or you become both, which is no fun.
3) Do not sleep in a different bedroom than your own. If you're running a bad fever, it will merely confuse you and ruin your night of what little rest you're getting.
4) If you love your family and friends, don't stay near them for too long.
5) Do not watch CSI while under with the flu. Believe me, it screws with your mind.

Given that, I must admit that I'm slowly getting over this blasted Flu. I merely have some sniffles and coughs left, and some slight dizziness.

In the spirit of a new blog, here's a picture.

A while back, Karria sent me a Youtube clip of all the one liners this blond guy pulled off and how they were the best things since sliced bread. I found this on the net the other day.

What he said.

I really have very little of intelligence to add. He and I really do agree on a lot of things, so when it comes to differences in opinion... maybe we won't see very much on that. However, with the whole "living in different countries" thing, everyone will get to see how ignorant Americans (read: me) really are!

..right. Like I said. Nothing intelligent.

Opening of a Legendary blog!

Muahahahaha! Of course, this will take work, although there's a slightly intriguing thing about this blog, and it's that there's 2 authors from 2 different countries. I imagine that difference in opinion, ideals, etc. will pop up, but also some interesting insights.

Welcome!

Haha! There's no escape now! Welcome to this blog. It'll be a mix up of many issues, ideas, funnies, etc. Red Wizzard is from Ontario Canada, and is 18. Karria is in Wisconsin and 18. Please enjoy the read.
